The World's Most Amazing Vertical Gardens - 1 views

  •
You are walking along a city street when suddenly you are confronted by the totally unexpected. A wall of greenery rises vertically up the face of a building nearby, and architecture takes on a whole new dimension. Not only are those who instigate this type of cladding being environmentally friendly. They are saving money as well.

The Gallery began with a modest group show of artists which included established NW artists such as Alden Mason, Gene Gentry McMahon, Karin Helmich and John F. Koenig. A number of younger artists were quickly added including Mark Calderon, Michael Ehle, Jody Isaacson, Ross Palmer Beecher, and Ed Wicklander. We then began working with Roger Shimomura, an already established artist who began his career in Seattle. The gallery also soon began to show prints and works on paper by Robert Motherwell, Helen Frankenthaler, Richard Diebenkorn, Jim Dine and artists making prints with ULAE, including Jasper Johns, Robert Rauschenberg, Terry Winters and Elizabeth Murray.

Recycled Wine Bottle Tealight Holders - 0 views

  •
Sometimes recycling means getting re-purposed like these cool new Recycled Wine Bottle Tealight Holders. These former wine bottles have been converted into unique and stylish hurricane-style shades that top a tealight candle. They come in a set of three, perfect for setting the mood over a romantic dinner, adding a bit of decorative illumination around your patio in the evenings or just lighting up the darkness, deep down in your wine cellar.
