I put this video together to show you how I turned myself into a cartoon. I did this because I noticed some services/websites out there that offer to turn your pictures into a cartoon for a fee / price. So to show you just how easy (or difficult) it can be I recorded myself turning myself (and partner) into a cartoon.

Die österreichische in Düsseldorf lebende Kultcartoonistin Birte Strohmayer alias Birte S. wird auf den diesjährigen KunstTagen des Rhein-Erft-Kreises in der Abtei Brauweiler durch CartoonKomplott Brühl und die [galerie.bruehl] präsentiert. Freundinnnen und Freunde des hintergründigen Humors können die Cartoons Birte S. erleben am Samstag, den 30. Juli 2011 von 12:00 bis 21:30 Uhr und Sonntag, den 31. Juli 2011 von 11:00 bis 18:00 Uhr in der Abtei Brauweiler, 50259 Pulheim-Brauweiler. An beiden Tagen wird die Künstlerin selbst anwesend sein und für persönliche Gespräche zur Verfügung stehen. Im Cartoonmuseum online Birte S. können Freundinnen und Freunde hintergründigen Humors sich schon jetzt 24-Stunden-Rund-um-die-Uhr an den Arbeiten der Kult-Cartoonistin Birte S. erfreuen.

Das WDR-Fernsehen hat in der Lokalzeit Düsseldorf der Aktuellen Stunde ein Porträt der Cartoonzeichnerin Birte Strohmayer ausgestrahlt. Gezeigt wird sie beim Illustrieren, bei den Kunstpunkten und auf der Büchermeile in der Altstadt am Burgplatz. Ihre Cartoons sind auch zu erleben auf der 5.Viersener Büchermeile im Rahmen des Stadtfestes "Viersener Note" am 10. und 11. September.

Certainly not every deviant has more than 445,000 visitors (or ever will), but this can only be tranlated as a mere fact that Mr. Jasiniski has something special in his works (as the left image called "The Drummer") that reminds you of songs like "Can't Takes My Eyes off of You." It's quite a long journey if you wanna take a trip through his visual gallery, but it's never tiring but pleasing and refreshing. From simple composition to crowds of cartoon characters, from deadly facial expressions to barely possible combo of colors, his aesthetic power never stops but always explodes in each work. My instinct let me bookmark his page immediately and jot down those words, as for my nature, it tells me uniqueness can't happen unless you run into it at times.
