Afghan women's Dobaiti poetry; Rukhshana Sarwar's published literature on Dobaiti poetry which is passed down from generation to generation, reflects what is happening in Afghanistan at the time, written by mothers and grandmothers seated around tables, poetry for the common people.

Safdar Ahmed talks about Alwy's work; how Alwy attends his own exhibition via a dialogue on FB. Safdar talks about his own life as an artist, speaks about drawing his grandmother, the context of the refugee, how art can help to transcend and enrich lives. Mentions Afghan hazara men, Alwys Fadel, an Afghan woman's image of her son, 'food art', resisting single narratives; the importance of carpets in Afghan culture and the significance of an Afghan in detention's work which is a carpet of iconic Australian images.
