      I think that the authors were trying to be absurd in a wacky sort of way in their depiction of educational spaces in 2020. But I have to agree with Laura that it did seem to venture more toward "frankly obscene." And this because the tone was not consistent. They did not keep this lighthearted absurdist viewpoint and instead seemed to return to "academic" style writing. This was confusing and seemed to minimize their points (even though I found many of them spot on).
