Augmented Reality with #Processing - Tutorial by Amnon Owed | CreativeApplications.Net - 0 views

  •
All of the visuals in the above video were created using NyArtoolkit for Processing. NyARToolkit is an augmented reality toolkit built with 100% pure Java. It is derived from ARToolkit-2.72.1. Like Processing itself it's open source and free! In this tutorial you will learn how to use it to place computer generated imagery correctly onto real world footage. To do this in real-time NyArtoolkit uses markers - black and white images - to determine the three-dimensional position and orientation in the real world. Most likely you will have seen something like this before, but now you will learn how to do it yourself using freely available software.

Add checkboxes to an Excel spreadsheet - 0 views

  •
If you're setting up a worksheet only for yourself, you can simply leave an empty cell for this purpose. To check it, just type in an x or any other character. Then use a formula with the =isblank() function to make the contents of that cell affect the rest of the spreadsheet. But you might want something more mouse-friendly--especially if you're designing a spreadsheet for other people. I've tested the technique below on Excel 2007, 2010, and 2013. I'm not sure about earlier versions. You can insert checkboxes on Excel's Developer tab. Unfortunately, that tab is hidden by default. To make it visible in Excel 2010 or 2013, click the File tab and select Options. ClickCustomize Ribbon. You'll see two lists. Make sure that the one on the right is titled Main Tabs. Check Developer.

How to create audiobooks in iTunes? - 0 views

  •
Digital audiobooks can be purchased online including Audible, eMusic, and iTunes. iTunes keeps audiobooks separate from your music library so as to make them easier to find. Also, it allows you to adjust the playback speed of the file as well as resume from the previously played chapter where it left. Just by tuning few settings, you can ready your iTunes and iPod to recognize any audio file or group of audio files as an audiobook.

AppInventor:Course Curriculum - Notes - 0 views

  •
The two teachers, Betsy and Chinma, have been working together to create a course curriculum that will be implemented in their high school classrooms. Our goal is to expose high students (i.e. CS zero students) to Computer Science using App Inventor. The App Inventor curriculum should excite the students and therefore encourage them to continue studying Computer Science. We hope that this curriculum will become the catalyst that spurs students to attend college and major in Computer Science.
