Some really inspiring bits will go here!!! - CLP is instinctively exploring avenue of keeping conversation going with learners as well as discussing future plans and work with thier CLP angels via facebook.
Below is some evidence supporting this instict to share and communicate in the "virtual space".
Another fab slideshare presentation ;-) the really good example is of a youth group in the real world, with support in the virtual world. This is good for Bunny & Xtine to check out ;-)
Another slideshare presentation - this one is patchy! but plenty of nuggets of goog gold!!!
Wot's missing is the "earned stweardship of trust" !!! this is wot non-profits have!!! so they can become a broker of trust & services like I have discussed with Eliz. This leading thought links to work done in the past called, "the rise of the infomediary" - information broker based on relationship of trust. Also Work done by Prof. BJ Fogg - Computer's as persuasive technology, has a section on types of trust ;-)
Another slideshare presentation - this one is about seeding social spaces - it's more visual than anything. The key thing is "conversation" - and I guess, as Xtine & Eliz said, and quite cleverly did, they went where the conversation was flourishing - many learners had a facebook ;-) well done!!!
