Great post! Thanks for adding! Howard Rheingold is a great person to follow for tips and knowledge in these areas. If you are on Twitter, look him up! I read a couple of his books last year and they were really great; very readable and useful. He writes great stuff about communities of practice, online tools and communication etc. This is a good podcast on building your internet search skills to find appropriate materials and weed out the inappropriate by asking the right questions.

Language is not neutral: review of a book. Content is very controversial in terms of language use. No need to read the book, just look at the blurb text and comments from others on this page to get an idea of how language can spark a reaction.
