Draw your own comics Chogger is an awesome comic strip building platform. It looks like Pixton and Make Beliefs  but offers extra services. Choggers has a good editing tool that allows users to create their own cartoons out of imported photos. Users can even hook on their camera and snap images to edit on Chogger. There are also tools to help users start  drawing their own  images  from scratch. It is indeed so much fun working on Chogger and students will definitely feel at ease using it. Way back in the day, when I was a student, I remember drawing out my timelines with colored pencils on pieces of taped together construction paper (to make the line long enough). We've come a long way since the late '80′s, and there are a lot of web tools and apps out there that help users make much more advanced timelines than I could crank out with my awesome colored pencils. Whether you're using them to chronicle well known historical events, or your own personal history, these tools can bring together audio, video, photos, text, and more to showcase a well rounded, multimedia timeline to tell your story. Time Toast timetoast Time Toast also offers uses free, unlimited timelines and easy Facebook integration. I've been reading lately about the novelty effect for increased attention spans in education. I believe "iFake Text" is a great example of  a simple tool that can allow your students to show what they know in a unique or novel way by emulating a text message conversation on an iPhone.

Grockit is very easy to use and has a user friendly interface. It lets its users search for a YouTube video and once found, they can then both watch the video and use the right side panel to write their questions or comments. They can then share this page using a generated URL with their students or colleagues.

Automatoon is a great web application. It allows its users to easily create animations. These animations can be reused anywhere on the web. I know the first thing that you would think about now is how hard it is to create an animated clip , but do not worry no one of us is a technology wizard yet we can make simple animations to share with our students using Automatoon. No sign up required and u can export your creations.
