YouTube brings interactive quizzes to videos with Questions Editor beta -- Engadget - 0 views

  •
"Feel like something's missing from your YouTube viewing experience -- like some good 'ol multiple-choice questions? The chronic learners among us will be happy to hear that the site is testing an interactive -- and potentially educational -- feature that lets users add quizzes to their clips. A new page on the YouTube site describes a "Video Questions Editor Beta," which lets channel owners display multiple-choice questions on top of their videos as they play. The page is pretty blank at the moment, but the beta is up and running for those who opt in. Don't get too excited, though: YouTube's disclaimer states the feature "represents work in progress," and "there is no plan for long-term support of the feature." TechCrunch 29 Leave A Comment "

Quick Screen Share - 0 views

" About QuickScreenShare.com: QuickScreenShare.com is the simplest way to share screens with anybody: No registration required and completely free. Nothing to install for sharer or sharee (assuming you have Java). Works on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Even lets you remotely control mouse and keyboard! This free service is a side project from the creators of Screencast-O-Matic.com and is still in BETA. We use it extensively for remote user support and collaboration. The current version creates a direct peer-to-peer connection, so if you're on a super duper secure school or company network it may or may not be able to connect, but in most cases you'll find it works quite well so give it a shot! The easiest way to create apps for your phone! App Inventor is built on the idea that you do not need to be a developer to build great mobile applications. Instead of code, App Inventor allows you to visually design applications and use blocks to specify application logic. Use the GPS-location sensor to build location aware appsFor example, build an app to help you remember where you parked your car. Make your apps communicate by using the phone functionalityFor example, build an app that periodically texts "missing you" to your loved ones. Integrate with the web to build mashup applicationsFor example, build an app that talks to your favorite website like Twitter.
