Images, timelines, articles, & commentary on Napoleon Delve deeper into Napoleonic history here in our section on the history of the two empires. Alongside a section for those just starting, there are many articles, images with commentary, close-ups and special dossiers for the serious Napoleonic enthusiast.

This section is specifically written for Cambridge IGCSE Economics Syllabus 2011. However, students and teachers from other curriculum will find this section equally useful as most of the topics covered here are common. All GCSCs from various Examination Boards such as EDEXCEL, AQA, CECA and others will find it equally useful.

Spinning the Web is funded by the New Opportunities Fund and developed by Manchester Library and Information Service in partnership with local museums, libraries and archives.
