KARACHI: Former Pakistani president Asif Ali Zardari's close confidant has been charged with corruption and terror financing, according to an FIR filed at North Nazimabad police station yesterday. After the expiration of his 90-day remand in Rangers custody, Dr. Asim Hussain, a former federal minister and the Chairman of the provincial Higher Education Commission (HEC), has been shifted to Gulberg police station moments after midnight under heightened guard.
