NEW DELHI: Hardline Hindu group Shiv Sena has called for the cancellation of renowned Pakistani ghazal maestro Ghulam Ali's concert in India, local media reported. Ghulam Ali is scheduled to perform at Mumbai's Shanmukhanand Hall on Friday, October 9. In April this year, Ghulam Ali had held a concert in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's constituency, Varanasi.
MUMBAI: Bitter backlash against Bollywood actor Aamir Khan's remarks about growing intolerance in India continues, as a leader of Hindu radical organization, Shiv Sena, announced reward for anyone who slaps the Muslim superstar, Samaa reported. According to Indian media, Shiv Sena's Punjab unit chief has said that anyone who slapped Aamir Khan would receive Rs.1 lakh (100,000) for each slap from the party.
