LAHORE: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has finalized all arrangements to ensure holding of by-elections in two National Assembly constituencies NA-122 Lahore and NA-144 Okara, and one Punjab Assembly constituency PP-147 Lahore tomorrow (Sunday). A total of seventeen candidates are in the arena in NA-122 Lahore.

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan on Monday declared an independent candidate, Riaz-ul-Haq winner from NA-144 by securing 85,714 votes in by-election. According to ECP, an independent candidate Chaudhry Riazul Haq got 85,714 votes while Ali Arif Chaudhry of Pakistan Muslim League (N) achieved 45,199 votes in NA-144.

OKARA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is all set to show its strength at a public meeting going to be held today (Wednesday) in Punjab's Okara town, Samaa reported. The rally is being held in connection with Oct. 11 by-elections in National Assembly constituency, NA-144 (Okara).
