I think this commercial uses the pathos appeal when Laila Ali talks about not feeling good about her body image, trying to relate to the audience of a lot of middle-aged women in the U.S. today. I also find that by using the balloon as a demonstration of feeling bloated was a good example of visual rhetoric.
Wow, this is a really great example of purposeful rhetoric, Maddy! I agree that it appeals to the middle aged women of our society but also the great taste appeals to everyone, especially hungry college students like me! The balloon made me feel bloated just by watching it.
