People like to talk - Just as your reputation matters in real life, your online reputation matters too.  If people were talking about you privately, we'd guess you'd want to know, right? Well, if people are talking about you online, it isn't private, so other people can and will know what they're saying. But so can you, you can listen, and you can respond. If you listen and respond in the right way, just as in a face-to-face conversation, you can strengthen your reputation. In business, this means strengthening your brand. Social media, is here, it's growing, and it won't go away either.
