Installable Web Apps - Google Code - 0 views
-
"An installable web app is a normal web site with a bit of extra metadata. You build and deploy this app exactly as you would build and deploy any web app, using any server-side or client-side technologies you like. The only thing that is different about an installable web app is how the app is packaged. Google Chrome and the Chrome Web Store will support installable web apps. For now, to load installable web apps you need a Windows Dev channel release of Google Chrome with a special command-line flag, as described in the developer's guide. "

The following tables comprise a selective guide to various free and open source software tools for a variety of digital media applications. This is an attempt to provide a first port of call for those looking for free and/or open source applications on the Internet. There is a bewildering array of such software and, as a result, we cannot hope to make this directory comprehensive. In addition, the almost daily changes in existing applications and the constant arrival of new ones means that the accuracy of information in these tables can't be guaranteed.

"This site is designed by Duo Labs to test the new W3C Specification Web Authentication. WebAuthn is supported in the Chrome, Firefox, and Edge browsers to different degrees, but support for credential creation and assertion using a U2F Token, like those provided by Yubico and Feitian, is supported by all of them. The code for this demo can be found here on GitHub. To read more about WebAuthn and what is does, check out webauthn.guide for an introduction."
