Mukhyamantri Scholarship Scheme in Punjab 2022 The Punjab government has introduced a scholarship programme known as the CM scholarship programme. The government would give quality education at a lower cost to government college students through this programme. This programme is especially beneficial for talented kids in the General category who come from very impoverished families. The Punjab government is raising the gross enrolment ratio in higher education thanks to the Chief Minister scholarship plan. This programme also provides free education to kids who achieve a 90% grade point average. Overview of the Punjab Mukhyamantri Scholarship Program Punjab's Chief Minister, Charanjit Singh Channi, has authorised the Punjab Mukhyamantri Scholarship Scheme. Fee reductions will be available to students enrolled in state government colleges under this programme. This proposal will promote higher education while simultaneously raising the GER at government colleges, which is currently at an all-time low. This project will benefit students who are financially disadvantaged, particularly those in the general category.
