This article was written on a study done on the affect of social support on limited-literacy patients and there willingness to get help when it comes to reading instructions on their medication and, basic health literacy. What they found out was that unless there was someone they could trust imensly, they would not seek help when it came to understanding directions, or getting info on health literacy.
