Common Sense Education, a popular resource for digital citizenship and Internet literacy, created an animated, choose-your-own-path interactive game designed for grades 6-8. In the game, students explore digital dilemmas, make good (and not-so-good) decisions, and try out possible solutions through stories and mini-games - all without risking their real-world reputations.

    Hi, it's Tessa!
Let me tell you about this tool: Spritz - reading technology - spritzinc.com
Spritz pertains to ISTE Standard 1B: Students build networks and customize their learning environments in ways that support the learning process.
Spritz allows students to enjoy a more efficient and focused method of reading by utilizing a ORP, or optimal recognition point. By doing this, there is a reduction in the number of times your eyes move while reading, but a reduction in the number of times your eyes must pass over a word for your brain to understand it. Spritz can be installed easilyon any computer and used with any virtual text, which makes it great for the classroom. This may assist in improving reading comprehension and independent reading strategies.
    - Virtual in-class reading assignments
    - Reading assignments outside of class (homework, textbooks, etc.)
    - Online research for assessments
