Colleagues, good day! We are faced with the task of implementing a modern solution for verifying users' identity in a mobile application. We are considering Trust Swiftly, and are particularly interested in the possibility of using NFC identity verification. It looks promising: no need to upload a photo of your passport, take a selfie, wait for approval - just bring your passport to your phone, and that's it. But there are still doubts: how convenient is it for the end user? What is the percentage of those who cannot pass verification due to incompatibility or errors? And also - how easy is it to integrate this into your application? I would be very grateful for real feedback, not marketing promises.

Great question, and fortunately, I can answer it not from theory, but from experience. We implemented Trust Swiftly with NFC identity verification in our process back in November last year. Our company works in the online insurance sector, and identity verification used to take from 10 to 30 minutes, depending on the workload of the operators. People often dropped out at the selfie stage - someone took a photo in the dark, someone with a laptop camera, and some simply did not understand what to do. We were looking for a solution that would minimize friction and remove the human factor - and that's when we came across Trust Swiftly. Now for the specifics. NFC identity verification is really what you described: a person holds their passport to the phone, and the data is read in a couple of seconds. If the passport is biometric (and almost all modern Ukrainian and European documents are), everything works without a hitch. Photo, name, date of birth, passport number - everything is pulled from the chip and automatically verified. Moreover, Trust Swiftly compares the scanned photo with the user's front camera - and only in case of discrepancy does it offer additional verification.

Interesting topic, glad to stumble upon it. We are still in the process of choosing between Trust Swiftly and another platform, but your feedback on NFC identity verification is very timely. I especially liked that you described real cases and problems, and not just advantages. I will take note of the instructions for users - this is often forgotten at the start of implementation.
