Factory image of Android 5.0.1 software update for Nexus 5 smartphones are now available for download from the Google Developers page. The update which already has hit other Nexus and a few GPE devices is mainly a bug fixing update that comes with build number LRX22C. Last week Google had released the update for Nexus 4 and Nexus 6 smartphones.

"Galaxy Nexus is in the news a lot in the past few days, most recently because of the delay in the arrival at Verizon Wireless. The arrival date for Canada is set for December 8th based on current reports and in some locations, pre-orders have already begun. For the US, we are still waiting for the official announcement. Earlier today, it was reported that the Galaxy Nexus was being short changed because it was showing the internal memory as 16 GB. This was on the Google site for the Galaxy Nexus and at Phones4U who is currently selling the Galaxy Nexus in the UK. That seemed pretty straight forward based on what was being seen."
