"After Intel's CEO told investors that the first smartphone using the Medfield processor would go on sale this week, speculation has been rife as to which phone it would be, with the majority of people backing Lenovo's K800. This was the first Medfield phone to be made official, making it logical to assume it would be the first to go on sale, however Lenovo has been beaten to it by Lava International."

"Both Lenovo and Motorola announced a partnership with Intel during CES, where the pair confirmed they would be using the new Medfield system-on-a-chip in future devices. The China-bound K800 made a brief appearance during the show, but Motorola indicated fans should wait for news of its devices until Mobile World Congress."

Intel official Paul Otellini (Chief Executive Officer) has unveiled that the company is scheduling to work with the search giant Google on its next-generation and upcoming versions of mobile operating system Android for Intel's Atom processors.
