Hey, so my fridge has been acting up lately it's not cooling as well as it should, and sometimes I hear these weird noises coming from the back. I've tried adjusting the temperature and even cleaned the coils, but it's still not working right. Do you think it could be a problem with the compressor, or is there something else I should check before calling a repair service? Also, how do I know if it's worth fixing or if I should start thinking about replacing it?

Sounds like your fridge might be having compressor issues, but before jumping to that, check the evaporator fan and make sure it's running properly. Also, if the condenser coils are clean and it's still acting up, a faulty thermostat or start relay could be the culprit. If the repair costs are high, it might be time to replace it. Need pro help?
