Hey guys! I recently came across the concept of FitRoom - AI clothing replacement for online stores. The idea is that with the help of artificial intelligence, customers can "try on" clothes on their virtual models to see how they will fit without leaving their home. It certainly seems interesting, but I have a few questions. How accurate is this technology really? Will it just be a marketing gimmick? It would be great to hear opinions from those who have already tried it or at least heard something about it!

I have actually used the AI fitting room technology before, and I can say that it is not just a marketing ploy. At least in those stores where it is implemented, it is a really convenient tool, especially for those who buy clothes online and cannot try them on in a regular store. For example, I have always faced the problem of choosing a size, because even in the same brands the fit on the body can vary greatly. Here, AI helps you see how the clothes will look based on your parameters. The process itself works like this: you upload your photo or create an avatar taking into account your measurements. Then the system, using artificial intelligence and machine learning, selects how the selected clothes will fit you. Of course, it is important that the clothing model itself is correctly presented, with high-quality textures and the correct size. But modern technologies such as 3D rendering and artificial intelligence allow you to achieve a truly accurate visual result. One of the advantages of this approach is saving time. You don't spend hours trying on clothes, but can immediately see how a particular outfit will look. For example, I recently bought a jacket online, and with the help of FitRoom I immediately realized that the chosen model would be too big for me. Without this feature, I would most likely have ordered it and then had to deal with the return. With the help of this technology, I immediately found the right size and shape, which made the purchasing process much easier.

Wow, it's great that you shared your experience! I was just wondering if I should even try this system. I've always had problems with buying clothes online - it's hard to choose the size, and as you rightly said, sometimes the clothes don't fit the way I'd like. I still prefer going to stores where you can try everything on, but this approach could probably really replace trying things on in real life.
