CAS No: 71-36-3 N-butanlo is mainly used in the manufacture of n-butyl ester plasticizers for phthalic acid, aliphatic dibasic acids and phosphoric acid. They are widely used in various plastics and rubber products, as well as a raw material of synthesized butyraldehyde, butyric acid, butylamine, and butyl lactate. It can also be served as an extracting agent of fats, drugs (such as antibiotics, hormones and vitamins), and spices, as well as an alkyd paint additive. It can be used as a solvent for organic dyes and printing inks and also be utilized as a dewaxing agent.
