The Nationwide House Energy Rating Scheme (NatHERS) provides homes with a star rating out of ten based on an estimate of a home's potential (heating and cooling) energy use. By providing a 'measuring tape' for energy efficiency, NatHERS helps to make Australian homes more comfortable for their inhabitants and help residents to save on energy bills through smarter design choices.

Frys has dual Assessor Accrediting Organisation memberships. Fry are accredited with both the Building Designers Association of Victoria (BDAV) and the Australian Building Sustainability Association (ABSA). Both these organisations are NatHERS approved Assessor Accrediting Organisations.

An accredited NatHERS assessor studies your house to evaluate its energy efficiency by using licensed software. The professional will rate your dwelling and the score would be known as energy rating. You should know that the rating does not manifest the exact amount of energy consumption as that keeps on varying according to the appliances used.
