This article presents the roles of assessment in curriculum practice and enhancement of learning. It also consists of three sections, namely, Assessment as component of the curriculum, continuous assessment for learning, and the importance of feedback and comments in assessed work and analyze each one. Furthermore, we find a discussion in this Article of the current state of assessment, particularly formative/continuous assessment.
