Massachusetts is known as the other name The Bay State because of the Cape Cod Bay where the promotion of the new land "from sea to shining sea" is made. Massachusetts, one of the smallest states in America, has many attractions from the Appalachian mountain to the white-sandy beaches of the Atlantic Coast.

According to the map of Massachusetts the state is located in northeastern USA�s New England region. The state is bordered by Connecticut and Rhode Island to the south and New York to the west. North Hampshire and Vermont lie to the north of this state and Atlantic Ocean is to the east. 

I've been fortunate enough to sample some great clam chowder over the years, on both coasts. In the past couple of weeks, I've been exploring Massachusetts with a native New Englander, and tasting chowder as we went - from the famous Legal Seafood in Boston, Mass, to the tip of Cape Cod. Who makes the best clam chowder?
