All sectoral indices ended lower, with BSE Realty index emerging as the top loser down 2.2% followed by the IT and Metal indices among others.Metal companies witnessed profit taking to end lower yesterday. Hindalco Industries, Tata Steel, Vedanta and Jindal Steel ended down 0.8-4.6% down. Banking shares ended mixed. SBI, Axis Bank and HDFC Bank ended down 0.7-2.1% each, while ICICI Bank ended flat and HDFC ended with marginal gains.... Read more here-

BSE midcap index has managed to close at a record high. BSE Midcap Index closed with 1.3 per cent gain at 10952.93 levels. Capital goods, pharmaceuticals, banking and power stocks had buying trend. Sensex closed at 29459 level with a gain of 97.5 points. Nifty closed at the level of 8956.7 with a gain of 55 points.

Sensex : 25940.63, went down 180 pts while Nifty is at 7,850.70, down 64 points. Top Gainers are- BAJAJ AUTO (1.1%), TATA MOTORS (0.9%), HERO MOTOCORP (0.7%), MARUTI SUZUKI (0.7%), AXIS BANK (0.6%)

The S&P BSE Sensex overflow, by 100 points in today's trade, led by gains in Infosys, ICICI Bank, RIL, HDFC, Axis Bank, and Tata Motors.Click For Free nifty futures tips.
