JosephSchumpeter suggested that the rewards of...
* Land (ownership) are Rent
* Capital ... Interest
* Labour ...Wages
His "entrepreneurial" "destruction" thesis clearly states that the rewards due an EntrePreneur are (nothing more and nothing less than the "leftovers" of the Enterprise (Business as in Corporation, or Journey as in a Company of Adventurers). -
A quick thought that may indicate the current bias in my thinking...
* the value of a Domain name is only realized in the context of its recognition, generally for the purposes of advertising as in (Brand recognition, a portal that attracts "eyeballs", etc.)
* In general, I do not believe in the value of advertising. Especially in the case of "broadcast".
* Obviously, my doubts fly in the face of a very large body of behaviour that is clearly evident in the fact that people do buy more of those products that are advertised, than they do of ones that they are not aware of.
* ...
I'm trying to truncated the trailing material since it seems to grow endlessly, and just seems to get in the way, unnecessarily (especially in this environment).
