Till now I have been able to come across two website from where you can find Google Chrome OS VMware versions. The first website is GDGT where I found a VMware version of Google Chromium OS. You will have to register in GDGT first to download the Chrome OS. You will need to download VMware Player (or VMware Fusion for Macs) to get it running. You can also use Virtual Box but according to GDGT "it is isn't always perfect".

This extension is a limited version of the Chrome OS Web App(right bellow this). It was made to support all versions of Google Chrome/Chromium that support extensions. When it`s icon is clicked, it opens the menu as a tab that can be pinned for better interface experiences. It is totally customizable, you can sort(drag and drop) all the items, create new ones,and add your own picture and name!
