One major impact on Russia by the Mongol conquest was the huge amount of casualties suffered by the Russian people.  This had an impact on the social, economic, and political aspects of Russia.  For example, families were destroyed creating difficult psychological strain, skilled workers essential to the economy were lost,  and  members of the government were lost.

Another major impact by the Mongol conquest of Russia dealt with the devastation inflicted on Russia's culture.  First of all, many of Russia's cities - important parts of the Russian identity - were destroyed.  Also, Russia's skilled workers were drafted or otherwise put out of work, thus, no longer benefiting Russia's economy or identity.
