It would be interesting to investigate who maintains these sites. Do they contract them out or are they managed by school staff? Updating sites is so important, but such a huge task for one person.

I'm not sure why Van Meter's site is listed. It's pretty average in my opinion. Plus it's a packaged CMS sold by a third party vendor (SOCS).
