Famous Indian low-cost carrier (LCC) SpiceJet is putting its best efforts to counter the loss it encountered in the last quarter. Despite a poor run in the last few months, it will launch services to nine more global routes sometime soon.

According to latest news, SpiceJet is taking six Boeing 737-800 model aircraft on lease from BOC Aviation, a Singapore based company. As per the statement made by a BOC Aviation spokesperson, the first aircraft has already been delivered to SpiceJet and the balance of rest five is to be delivered next year. You can wait if you want to book air tickets for travelling in a Boeing 737 model.

The budget carrier - SpiceJet - recently rolled out festive offers for its customers. Now, travellers can enjoy cheap flights to Mangalore and other domestic destinations by booking tickets with this airline.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), which is the regulatory body in India under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, recently issued notices to three of the top no-frills carriers. This notice was issued to GoAir, IndiGo and SpiceJet for allegedly defying the restriction norms for payload in flights travelling to Patna and Jammu.

The new offer will be activated from the 6th of May and it features giving out of vouchers to passengers on a delay for which, the airline is responsible. Passengers of those flights, which get delayed for more than 60 minutes will be given 500 INR vouchers. These can be encashed during the next journey.
