The weekend has come and gone and still, iPhone owners are complaining about a few issues affecting their device after installing iOS 4.1, the main issue being with USB playback. Anyone else having problems?

Apple has announced that it will be ending the free iPhone 4 Case Program starting September 30th. Apparently the iPhone 4 antenna problem is even smaller then they originally thought.

Apple has staked its reputation on tight control of a few carefully designed, faultlessly executed products. Now, as Apple expands its reach from computers into music, video, consumer electronics and phones, it's getting harder and harder for the company to make sure all of its products "just work," as its marketing slogan goes. Its growing army of customers is getting more difficult to satisfy, and they're finding a host of new problems, ranging from tapeless camcorder issues to buggy iPhones.

My advice for a good backup strategy? Keep it simple. Keep it safe. Don't stress the details. The "you should backup regularly" argument needs little coaxing. Such a plant, run by robots and Macs, would be expensive to build. In the long run, however, the economic and political advantages of such a plant would be enormous. Apple would stop sending money to China and suffering from continuing scrutiny over labor conditions in a foreign country. The plant would become a poster child for modern, 21st century manufacturing. Imagine Steve Jobs taking the next president of the United States on a tour of a plant that makes its own electricity, cleans its own water and cranks out millions of iPods and iPhones each month. And sends power back into the grid on occasion to power our plug-in hybrids.
