Angry Birds became the first game to reach 500 million downloads. This record was achieved in less than two years after the game throwing the bird was released. Most downloader's number for this game come from China, where 50 million times downloaded the Angry Birds.

After a string of leaks and rumors in recent weeks, Apple finally unveiled two new iPhone models, dubbed the 6s and 6s Plus.

Apple apparently already has an iPhone ready for Verizon's network and the only thing preventing the Verizon iPhone from being a done deal is an agreement between the two companies.

Analyst Keith Bachman with BMO Capital Markets this week issued a note to investors in which he said Apple will finally update its MacBook Air line next month. According to the Barron's reports. Analyst Keith Bachman sees the company will launch MacBook Air, iPods or iPod touch expecting two models. Bachman doesn't offer too many details but does foresee a price droptwo new units in September.

Propagator provides a GUI for pushing out files to Macs on your local network. This is useful for OS X system administrators who wish to update all of their managed client machines with a specific file, most commonly property list (.plist) files. September 22, 2008 (Computerworld) Apple Inc.'s patching process proves that the company isn't serious about moving Macs into the enterprise, security researchers said today. One dissenting expert, however, said it was unfair to compare Apple's patching procedures with, say, Microsoft Corp.'s. "You have to evaluate the patching performance of the company if you're looking at Macs," said Andrew Storms, director of security operations at vendor nCircle Network Security Inc. "And the last two weeks hasn't been a gold star for Apple."
