Earlier, it seemed as though that when grasped, the iPhone 4 had signal strength problems. Now, it appears to be nothing more than a nasty little bug within iOS 4.

Finally, the iOS 8.1.1 is out of beta testing and available for download for iPhone, iPad and iPhone Touch. The 64 MB iOS 8.1.1 update is available as an over-the-air (OTA) software update or it can also be downloaded via iTunes. Apple has released the iOS 8.1.1 software update in less than a month from the iOS 8.1 roll out, which had brought some major features with it like Apple pay, iCloud Photo Library, Camera Roll and more. The present iOS 8.1.1 is mainly a bug fixing and stability enhancing update which is expected to bring an improvement in performance to the two of the company's older devices: iPad 2 and iPhone 4S.

It looks like the release of iOS 4 hasn't been smooth a one because people are experiencing all sorts of bugs and bugs are never good.

Back in April, 2007, Nathaniel Gray introduced Backup Bouncer, a suite of tests that can be used to evaluate a backup solution's ability to preserve HFS+ filesystem metadata. Since then, I have discovered a few bugs in the test suite that would prevent it from accurately reporting results on various platform:OS combinations. I also identified some areas where Backup Bouncer could do a bit more, so I fleshed out some of the tests to be a bit more thorough.
