By Jonathan Noah and Ed Payne, CNN updated 5:00 PM EDT, Tue August 21, 2012 (CNN) -- A 20-year-old woman whose aunt allegedly beat her and held her captive for a decade in the basement of a Philadelphia apartment building has sued the city, claiming her ordeal could have been avoided if officials had acted appropriately.

I think the women is right to sue. They didn't fully check the Aunts records to know she was a convicted felon and if they had then the women wouldn't have went through this. They should have taken their time and done their jobs right.

I Think its good that she suing, but why is she suing the city she should be suing the women to held her captive for 10 years.
