The relatives of a teenage suspect in a baby's shooting death have been arrested on charges of lying to police. The aunt and the mother of 17-year-old De'Marquise Elkins were taken into custody on Tuesday after giving police new information that led to a pond where police found a handgun.

(CNN) -- A former boxer was arrested Wednesday in the 1987 murder of his manager after investigators developed a break in the case by using DNA evidence, Los Angeles police said. A fugitive task force from the FBI joined by local police arrested Exum Speight, 50, in Los Angeles suburb of San Fernando, authorities said.

London (CNN) -- British police have arrested a couple on suspicion of holding three "extremely traumatized" women captive for more than 30 years, Scotland Yard announced Thursday. One of the women -- a 30-year-old Briton -- "appears to have been in servitude for her entire life," Metropolitan Police Detective Inspector Kevin Hyland said.

A New York City police officer accused of planning to kidnap, rape, torture and cook a number of women and eat their body parts has been arrested and charged in the case, the U.S. Attorney's Office in Manhattan said Thursday. Gilberto Valle, 28, a six-year NYPD veteran, was arrested Wednesday at his home in Queens.

Who did they find this out ? and if it was true it would be first degree murder .

A man from Huntley, Illinois has been arrested and charged with sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl. The man, Jimmy J. Dill, 40, was arrested Tuesday. The charges stem from two alleged incidents: his alleged touching of a breast of the 16-year-old girl in October 2011, which happened at his home; and a second incident a month later, in which he exposed his genitals to the teen, which also happened at his home.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- A 25-year-old Lincoln man has been arrested, accused of child abuse because of several injuries to his 13-week-old son. Police say Victor Patterson Sr. was arrested after the boy's mother took her son to a Lincoln emergency room. She told doctors the boy, Victor Patterson Jr., kept vomiting.

(CNN) -- Two more arrests were made in connection with the shooting death of a Mississippi State University student on campus, bringing the total number of suspects to three, officials said Tuesday. All three suspects are from the Jackson, Mississippi, metro area, and they are believed to be acquaintances of the victim, who is from Madison, Mississippi, said university Police Chief Georgia Lindley.
