LG has reportedly dropped the price of the G2 ahead of the upcoming launch of its new flagship, the LG G3. According to a tweet by Mahesh Telecom, the LG G2 16GB now gets an official price tag of Rs. 34,990, while the 32GB variant gets priced at Rs. 37,990.

Motorola entered the Indian market again last year with the Moto G and there was bloodshed to get hold of the device. It offered excellent value for money and changed the standard with which we judge and budget or mid-range device. Every new device was judged taking the Moto G as reference point.

The global mobile market is always abuzz with innumerable new launches. The latest smartphones are not only more capable than their predecessors, but are more often than not cheaper as well. A duo of live pictures of the LG G Pro 2 were leaked online. The images suggest the phone will be having power and volume rocker keys below the rear camera, similar to the vendor's current flagship, the LG G2.
