Microsoft's first self-branded Lumia smartphone after Nokia's acquisition, the Lumia 535 is all set to launch in India. The Redmond-based tech giant has sent out invites for an event taking place on November 26 th. Unveiled last week, the Microsoft Lumia 535 drops Nokia branding from both the front and rear in favour of a Microsoft logo.

After acquiring Nokia, it didn't take long for Microsoft to shed its hardware unit with its iconic name and replace that with its own brand. Now, the WP-based devices from its stable will be bearing the Microsoft Lumia label instead of Nokia Lumia, and the first device to launch with this name is the budget-centric Lumia 535.

After months of waiting, Microsoft has finally relinquished Nokia branding for the Lumia series of devices. The first smartphone be launched without Nokia branding is the entry-level Microsoft Lumia 535. As seen earlier, the phone comes with a Microsoft logo at both the front and back.

The Nokia Lumia series of smartphones are affordable products with mind blowing colourful displays. The latest stunner on the list is Microsoft Lumia 535, it launches with a prestigious business tag of being the first Lumia phone to have the Microsoft brand logo and is referred to as an entry level smartphone and a replacement of Lumia 530 that launched in early 2014.

Lumia 535 is the latest smartphone stunner, a first of its affordable kind by Microsoft. The company has also built the Lumia 730 with a stunning display, the low priced phone market has brought in an overload of colour to the Indian society, and the quality of design is on par with its high-end counterparts.
