ordle is a toy for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes. The images you create with Wordle are yours to use however you like. You can print them out, or save them to the Wordle gallery to share with your friends.

But when students are expected to use technology that includes practical applications such as word processing software and spreadsheets, it can pose a challenge both to them and to the instructor.

As I’ve seen in my teaching practice, building genuine relationships with students is one of the most efficient ways to establish classroom management, but it is also necessary to engage students in learning the skills they need in order to use the technological components of the classroom.
