Blogging makes a difference in student a student's education. It's the most important change I've made in my teaching career. Through this workshop, I want to encourage you to take up blogging with your class and for your students while integrating the upcoming Common Core State Standards.

A huge factor for schools in dealing with students and working online is CIPA/COPPA compliance. This is to ensure student safety as well as monitor and filter their online behavior.

As educators in the 21st century, one of our goals should be to design student driven experiences that offer flexible learning paths, using a variety of tools to meet the diverse needs of all students.

Article identifying ways to better student engagement.

Our students should have a kinesthetic brain break every 25-30 minutes. Brain breaks are refreshing to students and teachers alike. They do take some time out of class, but the efficiency of our students goes up when we incorporate them. Please comment if you have variations on a particular brain break.

This is a great website to share with your math students to get them thinking and building their number sense. I plan on using it as a daily activity with my math classes.

Love this lesson and the included printable which has graph with labels and one without labels so older students can add appropriate labels to their graphs. 

Students learn the importance of math accuracy and, more specifically, that knowing how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions makes life easier for everyone.
