Last week we wrote about how the new iPhone 3GS offers better security because of better encryption both on-device and in the hardware. But now, information has come to light that the device can be hacked within two minutes using readily available freeware.

The long-awaited Verizon iPhone will be available in February, and scores of new smartphone converts will finally be able to check their e-mail while brushing their teeth, play Plants vs. Zombies while chewing their morning muffins and carry out bank transactions while walking to work.

Nick Gillespie points points to the latest ridiculous case of Apple censoring apps on its iPhone/iPad platform. Apple rejected a cartoon version of the classic novel Ulysses because it included some bare breasts.

Question: what's better than syncing iTunes using a USB cable and but yet isn't allowed by Apple? You got it: wireless syncing. And that's why we're saddened to hear that the originally named app 'Wi-Fi Sync' was rejected from the App Store. Fear not though, because it's now up for sale on the Cydia Store.
