recently posed a question on my Teacher Garden Facebook fan page, asking for ideas of how to use QR codes in the classroom. While I was unable to obtain any more ideas, Lori over at Conversations in Literacy asked for some of my ideas, so I was propelled to do some more research over QR codes in the classroom. I was surprised by what I found!

In these short video tutorials from KQED learn the basics for how to use free online tools for teaching and learning. The following tools can be incorporated into the classroom to convey information visually, make persuasive arguments and allow for a variety of collaborative opportunities.

The article is for elementary school. It is somewhat basic, but it might be a conversation starter for a staff meeting. Also, it has links to other resources. (Make sure you go to page 2.)
