I think it's terrible about what happened to the Haitians. It's really sad to see a whole country devastated by a natural disaster, especially if it can't be predicted slightly before hand to prevent some casualties. I find it funny that now that a natural disaster has occurred, people are chipping in and trying to get aid there, but I wonder, what about before? If it really was the poorest country in the western hemisphere, why was no one trying to help them out then? Also, America is still dealing with the effects of Hurricane Katrina. All I know for sure is that all this can stop if we only cared a bit more about Global Warming. Well, not really what happened to Haiti, you can't stop an earthquake. But as for everything else, if we just paid attention to the Global Warming crisis, we wouldn't have as many natural disasters as we do now.
Why did no one try to help Haiti before hand? What is the best way to send aid to Haiti? How can we help them even more than we already have? When is more aid going to come to help them? How are the people dealing with this second earthquake?
