  Well I didn't know about the Haiti earthquake until a few days later after it happened. At first I didn't realized the severity of the situation and then I started to read articles and see more programming about the earthquake. I really feel bad about it and almost guilty that I have yet to do something to help. I'm not a cold person or something, but I really don't know why I have yet to do something that would help the Haitian people.
  
  1) Why is the United States helping, why not the UN?
  2) What the death toll now?
  3) When will the earthquakes stop?
  4) What can I do to help the Haitian people?
  5) How can people be more involved in helping?
