In a couple of sources it mentions that on alexanders date of birth a temple burnt down. a powerful symbol and great publicity for alexander (to add to his long line of related gods). this source simply corroborates this.
This is the Campaigns of Alexander, by Arrian, an ancient source on Alexander, but a secondary source because he was a Greek who lived during Roman times.
Alexander the Great biography of the Macedonian king- I found this sorce exceptable but It's focusing on the Macedonian people making it one sided. I think this website is good for more visual aspects than the intellectual.
Pericles' Funeral Oration! The site didn't look too dodgy. It was put up by the "Internet Ancient History Sourcebook". Not to mention, it's the same speech on all the other websites.
Gives useful information on the building of Kar-Tukulti-Ninurta, but the information could be outdated, as the original book was published in 1970, but the latest version was published in 2000.
