The "Life of a Rose" is a song dedicated to Mary Magdalene. It was channeled by Marlia Coeur inspired by the red heart spot she found one day in Tegalalang area in Bali, Indonesia. She is live looping with her #godin guitar and #boss #RC202 #electroharmonix #tcelectronics #freeze guitar effects pedals and recording live with #recorder Zoom H6. Everything is powered by a power bank (no electricity socket in the middle of Bali jungle!) She is wearing an in-ear piece because there is no speaker, this is the only way she can hear the effex pedals, the voice's reverb and the loop station to be able to sync along. "Life of a Rose" is the first channelled song/prayer of a new series of in-situ improvisations (part of Marlia's Earth Gridding New Earth project). VOICE ACTIVATION workshop Tauranga, New Zealand March 2019 We come together in a circle. We enter a meditative practice, "The Yoga of Sound", exploring the inner workings of the Voice. Gradually we start to sing with grace and tune in. Before you know it, we enter a different space inside ourselves, feeling free and open to share our voice and feel our heart. ¬¬ This is a group music game inspired by the ancient Indian alchemy of Raga, by African heritage singing, by traditional Balkan roots and Middle-eastern soul-speaking melodies, where we use the voice as our only instrument. ¬¬ Participants will work with voice experimentation and sound production, improvisation and expression through spontaneous interaction. ¬¬ Within a friendly environment we will have the opportunity to discover the full potential of our voice and reconnect with the music nature that exists within us all, right from the moment we are born. ¬¬ We use the vibrations of our voice's sounds for relaxation, release and self-improvement in our personal journey. Zeus also had his eyes set on Taygete and tried to seduce her. Before he could reach her, she ran into the arms of Artemis, who turned Taygete into a doe so that she could escape the clutches of Zeus. For millennia the Seven Sisters of the Pleiades, immortalised in the famous Pleiades star cluster, have been objects of wonder and fascination across the globe. They have been the subject of myths and legends in almost every culture on the planet. The Pleiades were seven sisters: Maia, Alcyone, Asterope, Celaeno, Taygete, Electra, and Merope. Their parents were Atlas, a Titan commanded by the god Zeus to hold up the earth, and Pleione, the mythical protectress of sailors. The Seven Sisters are also known as the 'Water Girls' or the 'Ice Maidens', due to their association with water, be it seas, rivers, rain, hail, snow, ice or frost. The Greek legends often refer to the sisters as 'Oceanids'. Some sources claim that the name 'Pleiades' originates from the ancient Greek word 'plein', meaning 'to sail'. _

Once a behind-the-scenes Internet activist, 30-year-old Wael Ghonim has emerged as an inspiring voice for a movement that has taken pride in being a leaderless "people's revolution." Now, the various activists behind it - including Ghonim - are working to coalesce into representatives to push their demands for President Hosni Mubarak's ouster. With protests invigorated, Vice President Omar Suleiman issued a sharply worded warning, saying of the protests in Tahrir, "We can't bear this for a long time, and there must be an end to this crisis as soon as possible," in a sign of growing impatience with 16 days of mass demonstrations. For the first time, protesters made a foray to Parliament, several blocks away from their camp in the square. Several hundred marched to the legislature and chanted for it to be dissolved.
