Before you know it, you enter a different space inside yourself, feeling free and open to share your voice and feel your heart. This is a group music game, where we use the voice as our instrument. Participants work with voice experimentation and sound production, improvisation and expression through spontaneous interaction. Within a friendly environment we will have the opportunity to discover the full potential of our voice and reconnect with the music nature that exists within us all, right from the moment we are born. We use the vibrations of our voice's sounds for relaxation, release and self-improvement in our personal journey. When using correct breathing, we achieve stability, better focus and greater awareness. Conscious breathing causes an emotionally calming effect. It is one of the most effective methods for reducing tension and hyperactivity of the brain. No previous experience is required. _

This workshop is dedicated to all of you who enjoy singing but only sing in the car or in the bathroom; who have an inner urge and wish to sing; who never tried to perform in public or would like to get better at performing live. Participants will work with voice experimentation and sound production, improvisation and expression through spontaneous interaction in an atmosphere of absolute acceptance and encouragement. We use the vibrations of our voice's sounds for relaxation, release and self-improvement in our personal journey. Mantras is a word or a short phrase that you continually repeat either aloud or silently to yourself in order to focus and clear your mind of any thoughts. Eventually, you can let go of the mantra and find yourself in the place of stillness and silence that is the goal of meditation. A few words about the facilitator: Marlia teaches classical guitar and composes, writes lyrics, arranges and records her songs, sometimes only with natural instruments and sometimes with the help of loopers, samples and effect pedals, where the voice always plays a leading role. She is a teacher and student of yoga and recently released her first independent solo album "Ode to Self" (2017). She also facilitates healing circles of improvised music coexistence through the voice, percussion instruments and dance. _

The "Life of a Rose" is a song dedicated to Mary Magdalene. It was channeled by Marlia Coeur inspired by the red heart spot she found one day in Tegalalang area in Bali, Indonesia. Everything is powered by a power bank (no electricity socket in the middle of Bali jungle!) She is wearing an in-ear piece because there is no speaker, this is the only way she can hear the effex pedals, the voice's reverb and the loop station to be able to sync along. "Life of a Rose" is the first channelled song/prayer of a new series of in-situ improvisations (part of Marlia's Earth Gridding New Earth project).
